Building Information Modeling/ Virtual Design & Construction
A new, large shopping senter. The project included rebuilding of the old cinema to a new one together with a library and construction of a new footpath over the subway.
The available area consists of the new building in six levels, whereas two levels are shopping areas and five (incl. the roof) are for parking.

The project had a strong focus on environmental issues, such as use of energy, choice of material and disturbing noises during construction, and later on when the centre was set in full operation.
October 2010 was one of Norway's largest shopping centres opened. The shopping centre contains parking areas, new cinema centre and library.
The contract also included construction of a new gangway bridge crossing the metro. The building have six floors, two levels containing shops and five levels (incl the roof) of parking.
Total area approx 42 000 sq.m.
The project was a design/production contract with environmental responsibility. Whereas Skanska is responsible for the energy use over the first three years after opening of the centre.
The project had a strong focus on environmental issues to energy consumption, choice of material and noice during the building and operating phases. Total area approx. 42 000 sq.m.
As a part of the contract, Skanska has to make sure that the energy consumption in the public and the parking areas, do not surpass the mid-term goals of 83 and 11 kWh/sq.m. throughout the first three years of operation of the shopping centre.
